    • Kim’s undergraduate teaching is on the Hartford Campus.
    • Her courses include: Methods of Social Research, Sociology of Carework, Sociology of Families, Sociology of Gender, and Sociology of Sexualities.
  • Kim’s graduate teaching and mentoring are on the Storrs campus.
    • She has taught a graduate course on the sociology of gender.She has served on 14 Dissertation Committees, 7 Masters Thesis Committees, and 27 Area Exam Committees.
  • Kim was the inaugral recipient of the University of Connecticut College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Faculty Achievement Award for Excellence in Teaching (2010) and winner of the Hartford Matters Teaching Grant Competition for her, “Sociology of Carework” course submission to fund the study of Hartford community care organizations’ innovations in care (2020).
