Bio

Kim Price-Glynn is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Connecticut (UConn). She teaches at UConn Hartford and UConn Storrs. She is affiliated with the Department of Geography, Sustainability, Community, and Urban Studies. Before joining the UConn faculty, she completed her doctorate in sociology at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a two-year postdoctoral research fellowship at the Harvard School of Public Health.

Much of Kim’s life and work centers on care. In addition to caring for her family and friends, carework is a central focus of her research and teaching, as well as her mentoring, service, and volunteering.
